BF-05 butyl adhesive film for Flex-19

BF-05 butyl adhesive film for Flex-19  1m x 0,5m x 1mm, 1kg

The butyl mix quality is equal to our ABX-Alubutyl, but without aluminium foil and in 1mm thickness. Due to the high tack on both sides, a very durable bond is produced when combined with rubber foams - better than bonding on the aluminium side of Alubutyl. This combination combines sheet metal deadening with heat and cold insulation.
Application: The substrate must be clean and free of grease/oil.

For sheets with water-repellent paint (lotus effect), adhesion is improved if these are lightly sanded.
After the white protective layer has been removed, the film is pressed on lengthwise in the centre and then spread to the sides to minimise bubble formation.

Bubbles can be pricked and pressed on with a sharp cutter.

A high pressure improves the adhesion. After peeling off the grey protective layer, press the rubber film down as hard as possible.

The BF-05 film adapts to any contour and is then not under tension.
