S-300 spherical loudspeaker with patented C-191mm coaxial chassis / 1 piece
The dream of sound without the distracting presence of speakers is now a reality. A soundstage is created between the spheres, with precise localization of every detail in width and depth. The speakers seemingly disappear as a sound source. With your eyes closed, the musicians appear as if they are gathered there live. For an upgrade to the highest sound class, we recommend adding our DSP-6 digital crossover.

As early as 1951, Harry F. Olsen determined that spherical enclosures had the least impact on the frequency response of the loudspeaker.

The new 30 cm sphere is made of hard plastic with an elegant, matte coating. Six internal struts increase stability and reduce cavity resonances. These and other problems of rectangular enclosures are minimized or eliminated, eliminating the need for costly solutions. The sphere is the ideal shape for loudspeaker enclosures – here in perfect harmony with the optimal loudspeaker: the patented C-191 coaxial driver.
Passive solution:
The ideal frequency responses of the bass midrange (drop-off above 2000 Hz) and treble (resonance frequency below 1000 Hz) allow for a 6 dB treble crossover with few components and no phase problems.
The photos of the back show the component layout. We recommend listening tests with a 5-ohm resistor and, if the treble is too loud, adding an additional 2-ohm resistor in series for a total of 7 ohms.
This version is ideal for all applications where an active solution is difficult or expensive to implement, such as surround sound with 5-9 speakers. The simple external connection of the crossover allows for a quick upgrade to active operation.
Lineup:
Free sound requires free placement. The S-300 "floats" on the upper ring of the stand, where it can be rotated in all directions – preferably aimed directly at the listening position.
