New: Sound and heat insulation in one product
The second step involving rubber foam is eliminated, as are the problems of long-term adhesion of the rubber foam panels. The noise insulation is equivalent to our ABX 2mm; because the firmly bonded rubber foam provides not only thermal insulation but also sound insulation.
Both layers are inextricably bonded and the high adhesive strength is identical to ours. ABX and ABX-tra . After butt-joint bonding, we recommend our rubber foam tape for the seam. FLEX-3 . Our video shows the processing instructions.
For optimal adhesion, we recommend preparing the surface to be bonded:
1. Dust, oil and grease free.
2. Lightly sand water-repellent surfaces (lotus effect).
3. Improve initial adhesion by warming to 20-40°C. Alubutyl and ISO composite mats should be stored for 1 day at 15-30°C.
4. Press down the aluminum butyl with a wallpaper roller. Press down the insulating mats firmly by hand.
