A-410 subwoofer mono amplifier 1 x 400 W / 2 Ω

The data and operation are identical to the A-409.

Want to get the most out of your subwoofer? This is the perfect amplifier for it!
The A-410 is a highly efficient amplifier for subwoofer operation, offering high quality, power, and a variety of controls. Unlike the A-409, its power amplifier stage utilizes digital circuitry and components. Its 2-ohm capability allows for the parallel operation of, for example, two 4-ohm subwoofers. The housing also acts as a heat sink, but due to the minimal heat dissipation of the digital circuitry, it only becomes slightly warm to the touch.
The power supply differs from mid-range amplifiers due to its large toroidal transformer and other components designed for high current delivery in the low bass range. The preamplifier stage is built using modern surface-mount technology (SMD). High operational reliability is ensured by various protection circuits.

The following settings are available for extensive configuration:
LEVEL SUB = Subwoofer volume setting, HIGH CUT = upper bass frequency, BOOST LEVEL = Bass boost strength, BOOST FREQUENCY = Bass boost frequency range, EQUALIZER LEVEL = Bass cut strength, EQUALIZER FREQUENCY = Bass cutoff frequency, SUBSONIC = Low bass filter cutoff point, PHASE = Phase shift cutoff point, LOW CUT = lower satellite speaker frequency.

Problem solving for shaker operation with measurement systems:
The system only "detects" the air pressure of the subwoofer, not the shaker vibration. The automatic setting affects everything connected to SUB OUT 1 and 2.
Excessive bass boost is detrimental for shakers, so the SUBSONIC should be used not only for subwoofers, but also urgently for shakers:
With deep bass music at medium volume, slowly turn from fully left to right until the vibration (or deep bass in the case of subwoofers) becomes slightly weaker, then turn 3-4mm back to the left = reactive power is filtered = more usable reserve.
If too little power reaches the shakers, the volume on the active subwoofer is turned down. This causes the calibration system to increase the SUB OUT output voltage, thus driving the A-409 at a higher frequency.

Customer quote:
Good morning Reckhorn team,
I bought an A-409 amplifier from you a while ago. I'm using it to power two JL Audio subwoofers (10 inches, 2 ohms). Oh my God!!! I'm so impressed!!! What a powerful sound!!!
